We scope, design, install and commission mechanical, electrical and process systems for industrial and commercial clients across Scotland.
Every quote sets out who designs, who installs, who tests and commissions, and who signs off. GeoEngineering carries out design and installation directly where it holds the competence, and appoints specialist designers, installers or the network operator where a discipline or regulation requires it. Where a project also needs a building or structure, GeoConstruction delivers that element and the two are run as one programme.
When you need it: a new production line, more throughput from existing plant, or a control system that no longer does the job.
Process plant and machinery, control panel design and build, and instrumentation – built for higher throughput, smarter energy use and improved process control.
When you need it: a new or extended building, a refurbishment, or services that are unreliable, costly to run or out of compliance.
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) building services designed and installed to reduce downtime, lower energy costs and meet regulatory compliance.
When you need it: replacing ageing heating plant, adding process heat, or fitting out a workshop or plant room.
Boiler and heating plant installation and upgrades, together with workshop and plant room installations that support your operation.
When you need it: a site that has outgrown its supply, a new building that needs connecting, or a production change that needs more power.
Planning and delivery of utility supply upgrades and new connections, coordinated with the utility providers. Recent work includes a new 276 kVA three-phase supply (400 A), with new switchgear, cable heads and 80 m of mains cable, delivered with the network operator.
When you need it: pipework, tanks, frames or steelwork that has to fit an existing plant or building.
Stainless steel and mild steel fabrication for process and building services projects, manufactured and installed to specification.
Surface water attenuation to control run-off from yards, roads and new development, including storage, flow control and connection to the drainage network to meet drainage and planning requirements.
Preparation and management of building warrant applications and completion certificates for engineering works, such as plant, boiler and building services alterations, with liaison with local authority building standards. For new buildings, extensions and modular buildings, GeoConstruction manages planning and the building warrant, and we provide the building services design. The decision rests with building standards; our job is a complete, well-evidenced submission.
